What is Rainbow?

Rainbow is a service organization for girls in between the ages of 11 and 21.

What Do You Learn From Rainbow?

In Rainbow, you learn valuable skills like:

leadership

service

and friendship.

Plus you learn the seven cardinal lessons of rainbow. Love, Religion, Nature, Immorality, Fidelity, Patriotism, and Service.

Are Parents Allowed to the Events?

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!PARENTS ARE ALLOWED TO ALL OF THE RAINBOW FUNCTIONS SO THERE IS NO NEED TO WORRY.

Are There Any Expenses?

Yes there are, it is usually around $20 a year for dues, and $30 the first year to cover your subscription to the Oregon Rainbow Journey (our news magazine).

What Fun Things Are Done at Rainbow?

Rainbow holds dances, sleepovers, ice cream parties, pool parties, game nights, and a whole lot more. Rainbow is also affiliated with the DeMolay, Jobs Daughters, Freemasons, and Eastern Star, to name a few (the Freemasons and Eastern Star are the adult organizations that put so much time and effort into helping the younger groups).

 Is There Any Work Involved?

Yes, but it isn't bad. Usually the work that you do is memorizing words for special events, and the other one is VERY VERY VERY IMPORTANT. It is called SERVICE. We work a lot to help others that need and want our help. Service is a job that is done without a reward. SERVICE IS THE BASIS OF EVERYTHING THAT RAINBOW DOES. THAT IS WHY IT IS A CARDINAL LESSON THAT RAINBOW GIRLS MUST LEARN.
