Many brethren have asked us over the years "How can you afford to offer so much space for free"?
We were once able to do this through the generosity of Brother Keith Lipman of Wayfarer's Lodge No. 1001, Evanston Illinois. Brother Keith owned an ISP in Chicago and allowed us to co-locate the Mastermason.com Server for no charge.
Last year Brother Lipman decided to retire from the ISP business. Other ISP's could not offer us the services we had with Cyberconnect of Chicago for a price we could afford. Our only option was to enter the Web Hosting business ourselves and hope we could build the business to the point where we could break even on our operating costs.
At this time we are operating the server at a loss. Our business is growing slowly, but it will be some time before we reach the break even point.
If you are a loyal user of Mastermason.com or someone who wishes to support Free Webspace for Masons, you can help keep us going by becoming a sponsor, or recommending us to a friend for hosting a domain name or web site. Until our business becomes self-sufficient, we are graciously accepting sponsorships or donations in any amount. We recently installed our new WebMail software and are allowing our brethren to sign-up for free Masonic WebMail accounts. Our mailbox size is 12mb for each account, attachments are allowed, and mail can be download from your account by POP3 if you wish.
Our WebMail accounts are for MASONS ONLY, or for our commercial customers. To apply for your account, we ask that you fill out the form at the following link. You will then be automatically provided with a link to our WebMail Sign-up page: Apply for WebMail.
