History of Siever's Lodge #491,

Nancy, Kentucky

Old Sievers Lodge  

 

The first Worshipful Master of Sievers Lodge #491 was Obediah Denham and he was installed on July 13, 1870 in Faubush, Kentucky. The Lodge operated Under Dispenstation until the Charter was issued in October 19, 1870. Mt. Pisgah Church, Fabush Kentucky was the original site of Sievers Hall, before moving to the current location in Nancy, Kentucky.

   After the installation of officers by J.T. Weseley, Proxy for the Grand Master of Kentucky, the first meeting date of the lodge was set as being the 2nd Saturday of each month. .................More
