History of Sievers Lodge #491 Free and Accepted Masons

The first formal meeting of Sievers Lodge was held on 13th day of August 1870. The above parking lot, outside modern Mt. Pisgah Church was the site of the original lodge.According to early lodge record books the following men where the first officers of Sievers Lodge:

During this meeting the first set of bylaws were adopted by the lodge, according to lodge records these bylaws were copied from Somerset Lodge #111.
