A Grateful THANKS!!! (published June 2008) At the Stated Meeting on June 10, Sharonville Lodge was presented with a check from the A.D.M.B.S.F. (Aid for Distressed Masonic Brothers at Sharonville Ford) Fund. This fund was started in 1974 and has now been dissolved. Our Lodge was one of the Lodges selected to receive a portion of the remaining balance. Our sincere appreciation goes to Brothers Charlie King (who delivered the check), Shelby Miller, Larry Miller and any others on the committee who considered us to receive this donation. We no doubt have some of our own members as Ford employees who had a part in contributing to this worthy fund. Thank you for your consideration!!!! |

Remember our Troops (published July 2007) One of our own, Brother Bill Ferrell is serving in Afghanistan and has requested the prayers of all of us for him and his men. He writes: "Hey Ya'll, just wanted everyone to know that things are going well here in Afghanistan. My team just arrived and we are getting on the job training and organizing ourselves for our mission. Right now, I'm in Kabul...which is the capital of Afghanistan. It is a very big and busy city. The traffic is crazy. I would ask that everyone pray for my team this year as things have been heating up over here. God Bless You and God Bless America. Captain Billy Ferrell" |

Congratulations to new Master Mason - William Eric Ferrell (published January 2007) On Saturday, January 6, 2007, Captain Bill Ferrell, US Army Infantry, was initiated as a Master Mason after passing all three degrees in two days before being shipped to Afghanistan. Mr. William Eric Ferrell, Fairfield, OH, petitioned Sharonville Lodge to receive the degrees of our Fraternity. When he petitioned he stated that he had completed a tour of duty in Iraq and was scheduled to attend Language School in Kansas, then he would be shipping overseas. Mr. Ferrell requested that if it was possible, he would very much like to become a Mason before he went back to war. Mr. William Eric Ferrell is the son of one of our long time Lodge members, Brother William C. Ferrell, Jr. Arrangements were made and the first three degrees of Masonry began on January 5 when he was initiated as an Entered Apprentice. Following his initiation, he passed his E.A. Proficiency Examination. We all the retired to the banquet room for refreshments and a good time was had by all present. He then immediately passed to the degree of Fellowcraft as well as his F.C. Proficiency Examination. The following morning, he received his M.M. Degree in a very impressive manner. Following this degree, he was given and passed his M.M. Proficiency Examination. Brother Ferrell received many gifts; the most special was a Masonic Ring from his father that he had worn for many years. Brother Robert N. Sears then made some comments about the Ferrell Family. The Ferrell family and the Sears family was raised in a little town just South of Somerset named Ferguson, Kentucky. When the lodge was closed, we all enjoyed some refreshments and great fellowship together in our Banquet Room. We all spent some time with our newly obligated Brother William Eric Ferrell, Master Mason, and his proud father. When it was time to leave, the new brother was reluctant to leave the company of new friends and brothers. Brother (Capt.) William Eric Ferrell will be leading men into battle representing the U.S.A. and as a M.M. from Sharonville Lodge #204. Let us not forget all that was accomplished for our M.M. was made possible by the hard work of many Master Masons. - submitted by Bro. Robert N. Sears, L.E.O.
