New Lodge Officers for 2007

New Lodge Officers for 2007 were installed on Tuesday, January 9, 2007 in an open ceremony at the Masonic Temple and are listed in the box to the immediate left.  The installing officer was Arthur Byrd, PM of Durham 352 and the installing chaplain was Rev. Tobie Stone.  After the ceremony family and friends joined the new officers and brother Masons down stairs for outstanding food and refreshments provided by The Order of the Eastern Star, Roxboro Chapter #207.

Prior to the Installation Ceremony outgoing WM Greg Elrod expressed his thanks for the support and help that he received during the year he sat in the East.  We wish to thank Greg for his leadership in 2006.  By all accounts, 2006 was a successful year with several new Master Masons joining our Lodge, a well attended Fish Fry, significant contributions to the Masonic Home For Children in Oxford and the Masonic and Eastern Star Home in Greensboro, restarting of the Lodge newsletter, and improvements to the Lodge building., and a well attended Past Masters and Ladies Night Dinner.   Thank you Greg and we look forward to seeing  you sitting with us on the sidelines, enjoying the rest from your labors.

After the Ceremony, new WM Russ Bray thanked everyone and asked for their support in the coming year.  WM Bray is no stranger to the East, having served as Master at Semper Fidelis #680 and twice at Green Level #277.  He has made the committee assignments and set the new year calendar.
