GREETINGS FROM THE EAST

On June 27, an EA degree was scheduled. Unfortunately, the candidate never showed. I want to thank all those officers and Lodge members who showed up to support this degree. Unfortunately, these things happen occasionally. The food for this degree work dinner came from the Spaghetti Dinner Fund Raiser, put on by Murrells Inlet Lodge, for the family of the recently deceased Worshipful Brother Billy Vaught, and I understand it was very good.

Just a reminder that we need brothers to help with the yard maintenance for the months of July and August. Please sign up with SW Bob Cape.

A District Putt-Putt fund raiser for both the Masters and Wardens Club and the Grand Master will be held on October 21.

This is similar to the one held last year except each Lodge in the district may be expected to sponsor 4 hole signs. More on this later.

The District Family Fun Day will be held on September 9th in Conway, and the Outdoor Degree at Atalaya will be held on October 21st.

Please attend the Golf Tournament meeting to be held at 6:30 PM on July 6 before our Dinner and next regular Communication.
