GREETINGS FROM THE EAST

We will do a MM degree on July 25 for Jeff Evans. Please mark your calendar & support this new brother.

Grand Master MW Ron Mitchum and Deputy Grand Master RW Jerry Carver attended the 7/17 Masters & Wardens Meeting at Socastee. MW spoke highly of the increased activity of new brothers entering and being raised in all the Lodges. He gave two examples: Fox(?) Lodge has already raised 20 and expects to have 50 new MM this year. Old Fort Lodge 420 got special dispensation to initiate 12 EA’s in two consecutive nights (6 each night).

Just a reminder that we need brothers to help the Road Warriors on August 5. So far we have only 5 signed up. The more we have the faster it goes. Please sign up. This is one of the ways that we Masons get some good publicity.

Brothers we need help with our golf tournament, which is our major fund raiser for the year.

Please support this by soliciting prizes and sponsorships. If you all do not get behind this we will not meet our charitable contribution goal for this year.
