Fred Eric Dabney

Fred Eric Dabney was born to Fred E. Dabney and Frances G. Dabney of Kewshaw, SC, on November 13, 1945.  He was educated in the Spartanburg (SC) and Charleston (SC) Public School Systems and is a graduate of North Greenville University and Carson-Newman College  He also attended Charleston Southern University and the University of Texas-El Paso.  Brother Dabney served in the United States Army for more than 27 years, retiring as the Command Sergeant Major of the 2nd Support Center, Fort Bragg, NC.  After retirement from the Army, he was the Senior Operations Manager of Operations at Jewelry Television, based in Knoxville, TN.  Brother Dabney is married to Gina (Davis) Dabney and father of Faith Jelley of Charlotte, NC, and Tim Dabney of Maryville, TN.  Brother Dabney and his wife are members of New Market Baptist Church located in New Market, TN.

Brother Dabney was initiated an Entered Apprentice Mason on April 7, 2007, passed to Fellowcraft Mason on January 29, 2008, and was raised a Master Mason on April 8, 2008.  Brother Dabney was appointed Junior Steward for 2009.  He was then elected to serve as Junior Warden for 2010, Senior Warden for 2011, and, in December 2011, was elected to serve as Worshipful Master of New Market Lodge #246 for 2012.
