R.·.W.·. Tom Brown of Groveland has apparently suffered a stroke. The latest info follows. Tom was released from the Critical Care Unit and moved into a regular room. His condition has improved greatly since Monday afternoon. When we saw him last night, he was aware of the day and even asked if it was time for his favorite show, Two and a Half Men.
We were able to speak with his occupational therapist today. He’s the first one who has really taken the time to sit down with us and offer to answer all of our questions. He said Tom has regained a lot of movement in his bicep (though still not 100%) but he’s still having trouble with his hand and leg. He’s still not able to stand on his own. We still don’t know when he’ll be coming home, as he may have to go to a rehab center after being discharged from the hospital. The therapist said he wasn’t sure yet which it will be.
The good news is that he’s coming home from the hospital. He may require additional rehab.

Degree Practice

BRETHREN,
THE THURSDAY PRACTICE SESSIONS AT WILDWOOD LODGE HAVE BEEN GOING VERY WELL. THE OFFICERS ARE MAKING GREAT PROGRESS IN CONFERRING THE DEGREES. I WOULD ENCOURAGE ANYONE WHO HAS A DESIRE TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY WAY WITH THE RITUAL, WHETHER YOU SIMPLY ARE CURIOUS ABOUT THE WORK OR INTERESTED IN GETTING IN LINE TO BECOME MASTER OF THE LODGE, TO COME OUT AND ENJOY THE FELLOWSHIP AND EDUCATION. WE HAVE A LOT OF FUN EVERY THURSDAY FROM 2 TO 4 PM.

WE HAVE RECENTLY STARTED GATHERING IN THE HOPE LUTHERAN CHURCH PARKING LOT AT 1:20 PM FOR ANYONE INTERESTED IN CAR POOLING TO WILDWOOD LODGE FOR THE MEETINGS. IF ANYONE FROM THE ZIP 32162 AREA IS INTERESTED IN STARTING A CARPOOLING GROUP FROM THAT AREA, I WOULD SUGGEST ORGANIZING A CONVENIENT MEETING PLACE AROUND SADDLEBROOK OR PUBLIX. LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK.

Computer Assistance

People keep asking me questions about computers. While I don't mind; the advice is always free and worth what you paid for it. I have found an even more knowledgeable person, who is also free. I have used his services and found his advice quite helpful. Send him an e-mail with your problem. But be sure to tell him the brand and model of your hardware, the operating system and release number you are using and the name and release number of any software that is giving you a problem. He has a very interesting column in the "Lake News/Triangle Shopping Guide" that comes out each Wednesday. E-Mail Computer Assistance
