• CONGRATULATIONS! To Grand Master Thomas E. Lawrence 33°, Worthy Grand Matron Sis. Tanya Smith Jeffries, and Worthy Grand Patron Clarence Whitehead 33°, as they have assumed leadership in our state. Best wishes to them, as well as, the many members of the M.W. St. James Grand Lodge A.F. & A.M. and the Queen Beatrice Grand Chapter, O.E.S. in their elections and appointments as Grand Officers. We thank you all for your contributions within the State of Illinois to elevate our standards, and now support you as you contribute your knowledge, love and leadership for the betterment of the Order. May God continue to strengthen, encourage and guide us with his Love.

• Both Schools of Instructions appear headed for a successful year.

Interest in learning was confirmed by the many Sisters and Brothers that attended the 2^nd Saturday Order of the Eastern Star School of Instruction. Sis. Mary Ann Patterson, Chairman gave a brief overview of the 2003 schedule and asked for input from all present to ensure satisfaction.

The 4^th Thursday Masonic School of Instruction began with the 2003 schedule, Introduction and Overview by Bro. Dion L. Whitted 33°, Vice-Chairman. Some learning fun with a game of Ritualistic Jeopardy was held. Enrollment in the course is expected to increase during the Quarter.

• The Mid-Winter Conference of the General Grand Masonic Congress will be held at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada from Thursday March 27^th ,2003 – March 30^th , 2003. Please obtain a Registration Form or make reservations by February 25, 2003. Information is listed below:
