The second edition of our local magazine is out and ALL members of each Lodge ought to have a copy. Sadly many lodges are not doing as requested and are simply handing the mag out to those present on the night.

If you do not have your copy then get onto your lodge secretary and ask why.

This issue has a major article on Maple Terrace Masonic Hall and a very good article on "Masonry North of London". Rumours about Scarborough Court are dispelled in an Article by the Chairman of the Friends of SC.

Get your copy for a really informative and relaxing read.

Freemasonry in the Community Week

A small committee has been formed to represent the lodges at Fern Avenue. We hope to open the temple for tours and talks and put on a small display at Jesmond Library. We need volunteers to man the tours and to give the talks so if you are interested then please email me (see home page) or drop a note into Fern Avenue.

We have had our first committee meeting and the open day will be held on 29th June between 11am and 4pm. We hope to have hourly displays, so if you want to volunteer please do so.

We have just had our second committee meeting and it would have been nice to see some more members there. Things are proceeding but we NEED YOUR HELP, brethren. Especially the younger members.
