Lodge History

    In 1908 the Lodge would be destroyed by a devastating fire.  The fire of 1908 would be the first of two fires that would occur in the Lodge’s history. There would also be a fire in 1923.

 

                        

  

 

 

 

    On February 6, 1908 an article in the Hancock Star talked about how plans were in the work to rebuild the lodge.

 

 

 

 

 

    After the last fire in 1923 the Lodge would once again be rebuilt.  The Brethren would continue to meet in that building until 1988, when it became apparent that the building was in need of serious repairs, which was far beyond the Lodges financial means at that time.
