MESSAGES

FROM THE SANCTUARY

Goodwin Chapter No 36 of Toms River and Hiram Chapter No. 1 of Redbank, New Jersey  have combined  to form Goodwin - Hiram No 1 RAM in Toms River, New Jersey. The sitting officers of Goodwin will continue as officers of Goodwin - Hiram No 1.

Companions All,

As Winter fades, and the bright promise of spring appears.  Let us take a lesson from the season and learn that this is the time of re-birth,  Not just for the natural world, but, for our fraternity as well.  Goodwin Chapter has just exalted several new Companions, and we extend a warm welcome to each and every one of them.

Many efforts are being made to get the word out to our Brother Master Masons in Blue Lodge.  A York Rite lecture to be given at Sunrise Lodge No 288 on April 7th is only one example.  Through these endeavors we can attempt to excite the interest in Royal Arch Masonry and raise our membership to appropriate levels.

The Chapter is the foundation of York Rite Masonry.  We need to establish a strong base here at this level, so that the other York Rite bodies will have a pool of well informed Companions to draw from.  To this end, I urge you, attend your Blue Lodges, speak of additional light that York Rite Masonry can give.  Encourage interest by being a true Companion and Brother, as I know all of you are.  Together we can make a difference.

It has been a welcomed surprise to see familiar faces again on the sidelines, and I thank all of you for your support.  Our Chapter can only benefit from the regular attendance of our members, and the companionship that will always attend such gatherings.  I Look forward to seeing all of you at our Convocations,

    Be Well,

    Robert T. Bell, Jr., M.E.H.P.

Congratulations Companions!!  The $500 you spent or first aid kits for our National Guard troops were put to precious use when they were ambushed recently.  Your kits were with them for immediate use.  More details to follow - Word has it that their official first aid kits have todate been lost in transit!!

Dover Township continues to support our National Guard Troops.   Goodwin is continuing its support of the troops and their families also.

Thanks to Mrs Robert Bell for shopping r and packaging the latest supplies to our troops in Iraq.
