Troubleshooting

If you find that your Login is being refused, there are a few things you should check:

1. Make sure the "location" you are trying to open is your complete URL. http://mastermason.com/YourSiteName
The "http://" must be used in the address bar and your folder or Site name included at the end. Trying to connect to: http://mastermason.com will NOT allow you to access.

2. Our Logins are case-sensitive. If you submitted a Username and Password that uses a mix of upper and lower-case characters, they must be entered exactly as you submitted them when applying for space. It often helps to Copy/Paste your Username & Password from the form that was emailed to you, directly into the Authentication boxes.

Broadband/Proxy issue:

If you use a broadband high-speed connection to the Internet, you may be affected by your providers Proxy server which is used to prevent hackers from attacking your machine. FrontPage is occasionally confused by these proxy setups, and affects your ability to log into a FrontPage Server. @Home is a national ISP offering broadband through local cable TV companies. Some personal home Firewall programs also install a proxy server on your system to protect you from hackers.

If you have entered your Login correctly and your FrontPage Web location, but are unable to get past our Authentication, you may need to check if a Proxy Setting is set up on your machine.

The following link will show you how to check this and make the appropriate change.....
