Publishing your documents:
You must have your "Local Web" open in FrontPage, which is the set of HTML documents you have prepared for your site.
Go to: File on the Toolbar and select: Publish Web
A dialog box will open asking you for a location to publish your Web. You must type in the URL of your new website. An example would be: http://mastermason.com/YourWebName , replacing "YourWebName" with the name of your folder or directory.
FrontPage will start to connect to our server and you will be prompted to enter your Username & Password. Once you have logged-in, the publishing process will begin.
Importing individual files:
Make sure you are in Folders View. The top line of your directory-tree is the "root directory" for your web. Example 6.
Highlight the Folder you wish to upload your files to by clicking on the folder once. Example 7.
Click on the File Menu and select: "Import". Example 8.
A new window will open. Select "Add File" to import files from a folder on your computer, or select: "Add Folder" to import an entire Folder and it's contents to your Web. Example 9.
Change to the folder which has your files and select the ones you wish to import to your Web. Multiple files can be selected by holding the CTRL key. Click Open when you have finished selecting your files. Example 10.
Your selected files will now be displayed in the Import List. Click Ok to start importing the files. Example 11. When your files have finished uploading, the Import window will close and you will be back at your regular FrontPage program window.
