From the East

Greetings Brethren,

Well, as I said before.. Summer will be over before you know it, and guess what, tomorrow is the start of Autumn!! Hope everyone enjoyed their Labor Day weekend!

Another big “Thank You” to all that helped out on Saturday the 12th finishing up with the water line installation, with some seeding & straw, not to mention a lot of hand raking! Also, a big “Thank You” to our Brothers Steve Stover and Buddy Brock who installed our new electric service that Saturday as well. Couldn’t have done it without you Brethren.

Our stated meeting in September went extremely well with the “Officer Advancement Night”. Brother Brett Fleming assumed the East for the evening, and did a Very fine job!! We also had many other Brothers assuming stations that evening, and you would not have known that this was not their regular chair. Great job everybody!

We had One new petition turned in that evening that was assigned to the Investigative Committee.

Details for the “Appreciation Day” on Sunday, September 27th were finalized, so we hope to see all of you there! This is to extend our appreciation to our families, widows and any award recipients, and the meal for the day will be our famous fish fry!

Our next stated meeting for October, will be our “Past Masters” night, and this will also be a “Re-Obligation Night”, with a very distinguished guest joining us for that evening. Most Worshipful Brother, Douglas O. Brenneman, Past Grand Master of Masons in Ohio, will be re-obligating us all as Master Masons that evening. We will also be having a dinner prior to the meeting at 6:30pm. Hope to have a very short regular meeting, but there will be some needed regular business to discuss first.

As always Brethren, please continue to keep our “Sick & Distressed” in your prayers.

Finally, Brethren, be ye all of one mind - live in peace; and may the God of love and peace delight to dwell with and bless us.  Amen

Sincerely & Fraternally,

Adam Wilson - Worshipful Master
