FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Masonic  Senior  Services  I-Care  Program

The Masonic Senior Services I-Care program has been expanded to cover the entire state of Ohio with the addition of DeAnna Kinney as coordinator for the southeast portion of the state.  DeAnna is a Licensed Social Worker and has been assigned to the 12th, 17th

18th, and 23rd Masonic Districts.  While this does not exactly match the area served by the Valley of Cambridge it is pretty close.  DeAnna was with us during our Fall reunion and had the opportunity to meet many of you.

The I-Care program is designed to help those individuals 65 and older who wish to remain in their homes by identifying and coordinating community-based services to help them maintain their independence.  The I-Care services are available to Ohio Masons, their wives and widows and Eastern Star members.  The services are free and are funded by the Ohio Masonic Home.

The I-Care program supports a companion program involving lodge and appended bodies I-Care Committees.  These committees are comprised of Masonic members, their spouses, relatives and friends who will offer volunteer supportive services to Masonic Seniors in cooperation with their local I-Care Coordinator.

DeAnna is available for programs to explain these services or to assist in establishing local I-Care Committees.  She is a resident of Bridgeport, Ohio and can be reached at P. O. Box 483, Martins Ferry, Ohio 43935 or by phone at 740-262-1974 or 866-557-0671.

She can also be reached by e-mail at dkinney@mssohio.org.
