Our 1995-96 Worshipful Master is computer programmer with a Masters' in
Business Administration and a Ph.D. in Computer Science. He lived for over a
year in Lausanne, Switzerland during his college years, attending the
Universite de Lausanne to study French. He has also studied Hebrew,
Archaeology, Old Babylonian and Egyptology. He holds several certifications
including the CCP (Certified Computing Professional), and has served on the
editorial council for that examination since 1989. He is listed in several
Who's Who volumes. Other Masonic affiliations include Lincoln Chapter, O.E.S.,
Scottish Rite Valley of Cleveland, Cunningham Chapter, DeMolay Mark Master,
Philalethes Society, the Quatuor Coronati Correspondence Circle and the
Cleveland Memorial Lodge. John comes from a very Masonic family in that his
mother was 1975 Worthy Grand Matron O.E.S. for the State of Ohio, being Past
Matron of Lincoln Chapter and his father was a member of Scottish Rite Valley
of Cleveland and Al Koran Shrine and presided over Cunningham Chapter and Holy
Grail Commandery. Several cousins, uncles and grandparents over several
generations were / are also Masons and his son, John III is a member of
Lakewood DeMolay
