Dear Brethren,

I wish to bring to your attention what most members probably do not realize about a very important charity.

I am referring to the Supreme Council blue Envelope Appeal.

I know we become irritated receiving so many requests in the mail, but this one is very important.

It is very important because the response to the Blue Envelope Appeal determines

how much scholarship monies we receive from Supreme Council and now here is the important part.

The amount we receive is not determined by how much money the members of the Valley donate, but

rather by HOW MANY MEMBERS OF THE VALLEY give. So If each member gave just

$1.00 EACH we would be recorded as a 100% VALLEY in the Supreme Council Office.

Each young man we give a scholarship is a potential Master Mason. Each young lady we give a 

scholarship, her future husband and or sons are potential Master Masons.

Please give this some thought and please help us with $1.00 or whatever you feel moved to provide.

If by chance you have not received the Blue Envelope Appeal within the last five (5) or six (6) weeks

please call the office at (812) 234-3761 and we will get you the proper form.
