In an NBC (Nuclear, Biological or Chemical) environment the best way to minimize the effects of the agent, and increase your chances of survival are:

  1. Put barriers between you and the agent. (Such as distance and/or personal protective equipment)
  2. Decontaminate yourself.
  3. Get immediate medical attention.

In order to ensure your survival, you will need to accomplish the first two prior to the arrival of specially trained units, and BEFORE the agent is identified.  Even if you are not exhibiting symptoms, you still need to seek medical attention.  Use the links to the left to learn more.

Remember: by staying in the area without proper training and equipment, all you do is create another victim!
